What Jack said about August is nice to say. Most people might not say that about him except his best friend Summer. If I knew Jack I would be friends with him. He sounds really nice.
When Jack said that he wanted to be friends with August again that was really,really nice. When Jack said that everything was August's fault,that was not nice at all. I wonder why Jack said that everything is August's fault because Jack was the person who was talking behind August's back,so it's all really Jack's fault about the two.
I liked how they included a chapter of why Jack wanted to meet August before school because now I know that this is why Jack was being so nice in the beginning of the book when him,Julian and Charlotte were showing August around the school.Also,one of my favorite characters is Jack because he always hangs out with August and be's kind with him when no one else in the whole entire school would ever do that except his other friend Christopher who he met in the summer before school started.I'm also really happy when Jack said that he wanted to meet August before school started because he learned his mistake and actually felt bad because before when they were younger and Jack first met August,he was being really rude to him.
I do think Jack is a great character. As a reader I was excited to read the section from his perspective. However, my favorite character is Summer! I love that she does what she wants regardless of what other people might think of her.
Summer is also my favorite character too. Because she is so nice,like for exsample now one else is being his friend with out Mr.Tuseman telling them to.Even Jack.Also she dose not care about what everyone else thinks about August she still likes him. If I new August I would be his friend hes still a human being.

ReplyDeleteIt is hard sometimes when feelings get hurt and people don't know why. It is easy to place blame on others than take responsibility for your actions.

ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful to be yourself no matter what anyone thinks! I think it shows great leadership.
