I felt like pages 81-94 were in Olivia's point of view. I think this because Olivia was talking about how she had been before August was born and how she was after August was born. She also talked about her friends Ella and Miranda and how they would play and take care of August when he was a baby. One part I liked was when how mad Olivia was when people stared at August because I felt like she was standing up for her little brother August.
I can not believe that she was feeling that way. via is nice like how she takes care of august. Also that is rude of via's Friends not including her.And why didn't answer via.
I think that Via wanted Auggie to learn how to grow up because I think that she wants him to be ready if someone makes fun of him or says something mean to him and I think that's one of her ways of protecting him.
Interesting point Gina. I think that sometimes older siblings try to protect their younger brother or sister when they are around. However, that is not always the case. I think Via is making sure that Auggie can be OK without her.
Via's point of view puts a twist on how you view August. We all saw him as how his point of view describes him, but Via gives an interesting take on how the family treats August and how she really feels.
Exactly Patrick! We have so many different sides to us, students, son/daughter, brother/sister, athlete and so on. I love how Raquel J. Palacio provides us with different perspectives and points of view in the story.

DeleteThere is always more than one side to a story!
Via has a lot of things to say and a lot about Auggie. Now we got to know how she truly feels.
