Sometimes people learn things from their homes that is not right and have to understand the difference between what is right at home vs what is right in school. Good point, Philip!
I agree Philip! When I read Julian's mom's note I actually felt a little bad for Julian. He doesn't have a good role model at home to teach him to be kind and compassionate to others because his mom is not kind or compassionate. I hope that Julian finds someone who can help him learn to be kind to others.
You are right Chelsea! Jack let his emotions get the better of him. However, there is a part of me that is glad that Jack defended Auggie (though he didn't pick the best way to do it) because now we know that Jack is a true friend to Auggie, even though he messed up and made those mean comments on Halloween.
I think it was good that Jack and August were back to being friends because now there are no fights between the two of them and Jack started to feel sorry about what he did to August an he learned his lesson and for August, August at-least has one good friend.
I think that Julian gets his bad manners from his mom because her note was not nice.
