I love this part! I love that Auggie has friends and looks back on the year fondly! Although, anyone who knows me knows I usually tear up (ok---I cry!) at end of year ceremonies!
I loved when his dad told him about how he was the one who took his astronaut helmet! Even though other people might have been frightened by Auggie's face, he hated how Auggie was hiding it because he thinks August is perfect just the way he is!
